AIRCAT® delivers an exceptional pneumatic hand tool line incorporating unique, multi-
patented exhaust muffler/filter technology developed by Exhaust Technologies, Inc. This
line has a substantially reduced noise-level along with improved power and torque. |
| |
| |
Until now, no significant environmental or productivity enhancements have surfaced in
the pneumatic tool industry. Though several established manufacturers have tried,
without success, to build a tool that reduces noise and maintains power, only AIRCAT® has delivered. |
| |
| |
The AIRCAT® impact wrench line offers both twin hammer and twin clutch©
mechanisms, with a torque range between 280 on its 3/8” to 1,000 loosening torque on
its 1000-TH composite impact model. Superior AIRCAT® mechanics and its internal
mechanism include high-quality bearing surfaces, air chambers and operation turbines.
This system lets exhaust exit through the handle, while earlier pneumatic tool designs
discharged air through front vents. Companies are starting to recognize the outstanding
benefits of in-handle air exhaust as opposed to ventilation through the front of the
wrench. Its revolutionary worldwide patented internal muffler/filter reduces noise, fume
hazards, exhausted air particulate inhalation, eye and lung blow-by. |
| |
| |
But AIRCAT® innovation doesn't end here. With recent OSHA regulatory changes and
state health guidelines boosting environmental workplace conditions, major efforts work
to identify ways to reduce shop noise. OSHA established acceptable air tool levels of 87
decibels. Air wrenches often operate in excess of 100 decibels, which can cause severe
hearing loss over time. |
| |
| |
But the AIRCAT® is tested and designed to operate at just 82 to 86 decibels, far below
OSHA guidelines. This helps mechanic/technicians and overall business operations.
Normal business transactions like telephone and face-to-face conversations are
particularly strained in a noisy environment. But AIRCAT® reduces this noise-level, from
its ratchets to its one inch wrench, providing a sound rating well below any current tool
in its class. Patented, tuned exhaust muffler technology lets discharged air pass without
developing back-pressure, thus retaining more power while significantly reducing noise.
Remember, noise does not mean power. |
| |
| |
AIRCAT® also incorporates a patented, ergonomically engineered handle design to
relieve stress, strain and fatigue on the operator's hands, wrists and arms. Mechanics
handling high-speed impact wrenches find it increasingly difficult to hold traditionally
shaped tools for long periods of time. The patented AIRCAT® handle provides more
balanced overall weight distribution and a solid grip that makes it easier to use for
prolonged periods of time. Our NitroCat® line also contains our patented tuned
exhaust for the most power you can get from a pneumatic impact wrench. |
